The London Litigation & Arbitration team specializes in the resolution of large, high-stakes and complex business and regulatory disputes, often with a reputational angle, and has acted for a number of the world’s leading companies (particularly those operating in the TMT and finance sectors) and financial institutions, as well as governments and government departments.
The team has extensive experience of litigation before the English Courts (up to and including the Supreme Court), the resolution of complaints, disputes and investigations before a number of regulatory authorities, international arbitration under the auspices of many of the major institutional rules, expert determination and other forms of ADR. We have also supervised the conduct of proceedings in a large number of jurisdictions around the world.

The team has significant experience of a broad range of business disputes including: major fraud litigation, international and cross-border disputes, banking and financial services litigation, corporate and joint venture disputes, major project and construction disputes, public law and regulatory disputes, major investigations, competition and antitrust issues, insolvency and asset recovery matters and proceedings involving injunctive relief (including search and freezing orders). Members of the team have acted in a number of the largest pieces of IT and telecommunications litigation to go before the English Courts (an area in which the team has a particular focus and market-leading reputation).
The team also has extensive trial experience: our team contains a barrister with significant advocacy experience, solicitor-advocates, and solicitors who have been involved in some of the largest cases to go before the English Courts.
