LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2010 – Paul S. Aronzon and Robert Jay Moore, partners in Milbank's Financial Restructuring Group in Los Angeles, were named to the Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers in California for 2010. The annual list includes the most influential lawyers whose work made a broad impact in the last 18 months. The top 100 lawyers were selected by the Daily Journal's editors from nearly 1,000 lawyers nominated by members of the legal community.
Mr. Aronzon, co-practice group leader of Milbank’s Financial Restructuring Group, was recognized for his work in representing Lehman Bros. creditors in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy involving $600 billion in assets and significantly more in liabilities, and Station Casinos Inc. in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy involving more than $7 billion in liabilities.
The Daily Journal highlighted Mr. Moore's representation of mining conglomerate Grupo Mexico SAB in the company’s debt restructuring, as well as his additional bankruptcy and financial restructuring work on behalf of Lehman Bros. creditors; a gaming and hotel complex; a real estate developer and a restaurant chain.
