The International Financial Law Review (IFLR) has announced the nominees for its annual Americas awards, with Milbank receiving 10 nominations for its practices and deals. Milbank is nominated for the following firm and practice awards:
- Americas Firm of the Year
- Debt and Equity-linked Team of the Year
- Project Finance Team of the Year
- Restructuring Team of the Year
The following deals on which Milbank worked have also been nominated for an award:
- Air Canada EETC – Debt and Equity-linked Deal of the Year
- Red de Carreteras – Debt and Equity-linked Deal of the Year
- PR-22 and PR-5 Refinancing – Project Finance Deal of the Year
- Chaglla hydroelectric project – Project Finance Deal of the Year
- American Airlines Chapter 11 reorganization – Restructuring Deal of the Year
- Vitro Chapter 15 proceedings – Restructuring Deal of the Year
Results will be announced at the IFLR Americas Awards Dinner in New York on Thursday March 27th, 2014.
