Litigation & Arbitration partner Antonia Apps, was a panelist at the conference entitled "Current Issues in Securities Regulation: The ‘Hot’ Topics." The one day programtook place on Friday, November 21, at Columbia Law School in New York City, and was followed by a cocktail reception. The panel consisted of regulators, prosecutors, defense counsel, judges, and market participants discussing topics such as: the impact of new decisions and practices on securities litigation, dark pools and high frequency trading policies, the regulation of money market funds, and other “hot” topics in securities regulation.
