Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals

Our European team has been involved in many of the most innovative oil, gas and petrochemical projects to date. We are advising on petrochemicals facilities in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and, most recently, the $1.1 billion Qatofin Project in Qatar which was named "EMEA Petrochemicals Deal of the Year" by Project Finance magazine. We have advised energy companies on petrochemical, gas and other energy projects in Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Qatar and Azerbaijan.

The demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) has grown steadily in recent years and Milbank has been active in this industry, both in the upstream and downstream elements of the LNG train. We are currently advising lenders on a two-train liquefaction project in the middle east.
