Milbank Represents Lead Arrangers in US$240 Million Financing of Terra-Gen's
831-Megawatt Renewable Generation Portfolio
NEW YORK, November 12, 2009 – Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has represented the lead arrangers in connection with a US$240 million financing for Terra-Gen Finance Company, LLC, a wholly-owned affiliate of ArcLight Capital Partners. Terra-Gen is the holding company for a portfolio of 831 megawatts of renewable generating assets in the western United States. The senior secured facility was comprised of a US$215 million 2.5-year term loan facility and a US$25 million 2.5-year working capital facility. The proceeds of the financing will be used to refinance existing debt and to issue corporate and project level support letters of credit.
