Leading Securities Litigator Jerry L. Marks Joins Milbank
Lateral Partner Addition Underscores Continued Expansion of West Coast Litigation Practice
LOS ANGELES, October 22, 2007 – Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP announced today that leading securities litigation partner, Jerry L. Marks, has joined the Firm in its Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Marks was the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office of Heller Ehrman LLP.

One of California’s premier securities litigators, Mr. Marks’ practice encompasses all aspects of securities litigation, including representing issuers, directors and officers, investment banks, and accounting firms in securities litigation, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisition litigation, internal investigations and enforcement proceedings before the SEC. Mr. Marks has appeared in federal and state trial and appellate courts in California and throughout the United States.
Mr. Marks received both his B.B.A. and his J.D. from the University of Iowa where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He also clerked for the Honorable Pamela Ann Rymer of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Marks is admitted to practice in California, and in front of the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California, and the Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
