Rick Sharp, partner in the Milbank's Litigation group, was a featured speaker at the 2008 Securities Houses Compliance Officers Group (SHCOG) conference held in London October 15-16, 2008. SHCOG is the major conference held annually for legal and compliance professionals in the UK investment banking and broker-dealer community. Mr. Sharp led a panel on the handling of an SEC Enforcement investigation in the context of pending international regulatory actions. The planning committee for SHCOG included representatives from many Milbank clients, including Morgan Stanley, UBS, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Calyon, Rabobank and Barclays.
