We are committed to developing our Asian offices for the long term.

We have one of the deepest and broadest practices among US firms in Asia, encompassing project finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, acquisition finance, structured products transactions, restructuring, leasing and transportation finance. We regularly work on large, complex, high profile and pioneering deals throughout Asia.

Since 2005, Milbank Asia has worked on more than 50 major Asian deals worth US$40 billion across M&A, project finance, capital markets and other practices in 12 countries throughout Asia.

• What we are looking for. We are seeking skilled, confident, high energy candidates who have a long-term interest in Asia, one of the world’s most dynamic regions.

• Language. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Bahasa Indonesia is helpful, but not a prerequisite.

• Practice focus. Our associates work closely with partners on major and complex transactions. No matter which office they are in, our lawyers have opportunities to work across a variety of countries and practices. They can also choose to focus on specific practices and countries
