Tom Siebens has been a securities and corporate finance partner since 1989 and based in the Firm’s London office for over 16 years.

Tom specializes in international transactions and advisory matters.  Most recently, his focus has been restructurings, special situations and opportunity investing, financings in distressed M&A transactions and liability management initiatives.  Historically, his practice has covered a broad range of financings, including IPOs, leveraged buyouts, off-balance sheet transactions, project bonds and offerings of investment grade, high yield and structured products.  Tom has extensive experience in emerging markets equity and debt offerings; he was based in Singapore for three years in the mid-1990s.

Tom is a member of the European High Yield Association.  He is also a member of Milbank’s European Special Situations Business Unit and its Islamic Finance Business Unit.  Both Chambers Directory and Legal Business list Thomas Siebens as a leading lawyer in the area of debt capital markets.

Tom is a graduate of Yale University and George Washington University Law School. He is qualified to practice law in New York State and the District of Columbia and is a registered foreign lawyer with the Law Society of England and Wales.
