Christopher Chwang is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and a member of the Global Project Finance Department. His experience includes project finance, asset-based financing, mergers and acquisitions, credit syndications, and general corporate work. Mr. Chwang has represented lenders, developers and investors in energy project financing transactions, including turbine supply loan financings, construction loan financings, term loan financings, private placement note issuances, letter of credit facilities, back-leveraged financings, syndications and tax equity investments. In the past few years, Mr. Chwang has been involved in renewable energy project transactions representing over 2,500 megawatts of installed capacity or capacity currently under development. Most recently, he has represented lenders in the financing of a portfolio of wind projects located in Texas, New York and Washington. He was also the lead associate representing lenders and other financing institutions for the Hackberry project in Texas, which included facilities for construction financing, term financing, private placement financing, working capital and letters of credit. Mr. Chwang received a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
