Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Beuchert’s practice area comprises all aspects of national and international tax law and related corporate law aspects. In particular, he specializes in transactional tax advice and corporate tax law including the tax aspects of corporate restructurings.
His recent more major transactions include
- The Carlyle Group on the acquisition of Primondo Specialty Group (PSG).
- NYSE Euronext on the combination with Deutsche Boerse.
- Nordwind Capital Partners on the initial public offering of SHW AG.
- Amerigon on the friendly takeover of publicly listed W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG.
- Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) on the acquisition of Luminator Technology Group (LGT).
- Axel Springer on the creation of a joint venture with Swiss publishing house Ringier relating to their activities in Eastern Europe.
Mr. Beuchert studied law at the university of Passau, the Chinese-German Institute for Business Law in Nanjing, PR China, and at Harvard Law School (LL.M.). Before joining Milbank, he clerked in Frankfurt, Mainz and London and worked for two years at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance in Munich.
Mr. Beuchert is admitted to the Bars of Germany and New York. He speaks German, English, French and Mandarin Chinese.
