Rainer Magold is a partner in the Frankfurt office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Leveraged Finance and High-Yield-Group. A partner since 2005, he was previously a partner with one of the largest international law firms.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Magold focuses on representing parties in acquisition finance, other non-recourse or limited-recourse financings, syndicated lending, transaction and corporate finance. His recent representations include advising borrowers and lenders in connection with the financing of a large number of acquisitions by private equity funds and strategic investors, numerous syndicated loans and project finance transactions.

Mr. Magold has been recognized as a leading leveraged finance and bank credit lawyer by leading directories, among them JUVE, Chambers Europe and Chambers Global, Legal 500, PLC, Who's Who of Banking and Project Finance and other such publications. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on leveraged finance and syndicated loans, and lectures at the Institute for Law and Finance at the University of Frankfurt.
