Rachel A. Fink is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Fink’s experience includes representation of public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate transactions, including stock-for-stock mergers, cash-for-stock mergers, tender offers, private stock and asset purchases, complex joint ventures, private placements of equity securities, restructurings, and competitive auctions conducted pursuant to Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Ms. Fink has represented numerous public and private companies, as well as private equity clients in various regulated and non-regulated industries, including power and energy (including renewable energy), financial services, space and satellite, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and commercial real estate.
Recognition & Accomplishments
While at the University of Southern California Law School, Ms. Fink served as a submissions editor of the Southern California Law Review and published Social Ties in the Boardroom: Changing the Definition of Director Independence to Eliminate 'Rubber-stamping' Boards, Southern California Law Review (2006).
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Fink is a member of Milbank's Associate Life Committee.
