Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Heller’s experience includes representation of public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other significant corporate transactions, including cash-for-stock and stock-for-stock mergers, asset and stock purchase and sale transactions, complex joint ventures, and reorganizations. He has represented private equity firms and public and private corporations. His practice also includes advising companies with respect to corporate governance, takeover defenses and other general corporate advice.
Mr. Heller has experience advising clients in various regulated and non-regulated industries, including financial services, electronics, energy, chemical, professional services and technology outsourcing.
Recognition & Accomplishments
While at Columbia Law School, Mr. Heller was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as a writer and editor for the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems.
