Nick Angel is a partner in the London office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, leads Milbank’s European Financial Restructuring Group and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. Mr. Angel joined Milbank as a partner in 2009, and was previously a partner at a major international law firm where he served as head of its Restructuring and Special Situations Group.

Nick is an English lawyer and he advises on complex, international and national restructuring and work out matters, M&A, private equity and general corporate law matters. He has advised on transactions in many countries including Belgium, Botswana, England, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, The Ukraine and the United States of America.
Nick has an unusually broad restructuring practice, regularly acting for prop. desks, special situation and event driven investors, creditor and bondholder committees, senior and junior lenders, debtors, management and insolvency practitioners. Nick has particularly extensive experience of analyzing and restructuring international enterprises with highly levered, complex financial structures (often using CoMI shifting and pre-pack techniques).
