Michael Lee is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Securities Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Lee’s primary focus is on securities and general corporate matters. Mr. Lee has experience representing public and private corporations, investment banks and private equity groups in connection with a variety of transactions, including equity offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, stock and asset acquisitions, tender offers, consent solicitations and refinancing transactions. His recent experience includes representing a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intelsat S.A., the world’s largest provider of fixed satellite services, in the issue of $2.65 billion of notes with registration rights and the concurrent tender offers and consent solicitations of existing series of notes.
Mr. Lee also has experience assisting public and private corporations in preparing filings necessary to comply with the securities laws, including annual and quarterly reports and comment letters.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Lee received his B.A. from Columbia University and earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Lee served as contributing/associate editor of the Michigan Law Review.
