Megha Shah is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Securities Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Shah’s primary focus is on securities and general corporate matters. Her experience includes representation of issuers and underwriters in private placements and registered offerings of high yield, investment grade and equity securities. Her recent experience includes the representation of a multinational satellite company in several refinancing transactions, including its issuances of $1.0 billion and $2.8 billion in high yield debt securities and related entry into a $3.75 billion credit facility, and the representation of the underwriting group in a registered public offering by a property REIT of $440 million in common stock.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Shah received her B.A. from Barnard College. She earned her J.D. from George Washington University where she was a member of the George Washington Law Review. Her note, “Grassroots Enforcement of EISA: The Need for a Citizen Suit Provision in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007,” 77 GEO. WASH. L. REV. 488 (2009), was published in the George Washington Law Review.
