Mark Plenderleith is a member of Milbank’s Global Project Finance Group and leads the firm’s finance team in the Tokyo office. He has been a partner since 2009.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Plenderleith focuses primarily on project development, acquisitions and financings in the energy, mining and infrastructure sectors. He has particular experience representing financial institutions, energy companies, developers, private equity funds and agencies on multi-source cash-flow based financings. Prior to joining Milbank, he worked in the London market and spent two years working for the Japan Bank for International Cooperation in Japan as a member of its project finance transaction team.

He is a regular speaker and panelist, and the author of a chapter to “International Project Finance Law and Practice”, which was recently published by Oxford University Press.
