Jeremy Steckel is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Securities Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Steckel's practice focuses on capital markets, finance and corporate matters, including the representation of investment banks and issuers in domestic and international securities transactions. He regularly works on offerings that are issued or guaranteed by governmental entities. His practice also includes counseling clients in connection with ongoing SEC-disclosure obligations.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Steckel received his B.A. from Tulane University in 2000 and his J.D. from American University in 2008, and is admitted to practice law in New York and Massachusetts. While at American University, he received the Robert Woldow Scholarship for corporate and securities law and served as a Distinguished Fellow in the Legal Writing Department, and interned for the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Fraud Section. Mr. Steckel has received multiple pro-bono achievement awards from The Legal Aid Society and from Milbank.
