Jan Nishizawa is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm's Corporate Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Nishizawa’s experience includes representing public and private companies in restructurings, general corporate practice, license agreements and joint ventures, acquisitions and sales of equity interests and assets, and a wide range of other transactional matters, including secured lending transactions. She has represented both domestic and foreign clients in complex corporate and finance transactions. Ms. Nishizawa has significant experience representing companies in the renewable energy and telecommunications industries.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Nishizawa graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Dean's Scholar and an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. She received her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California. Prior to law school, Ms. Nishizawa was an internal auditor with KPMG, LLP.
