Ethan Lee is an associate in the New York office of Mibank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group and the Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Lee’s practice focuses on intellectual property and a wide variety of general commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Lee was commissioned an officer in the US Navy and trained for two years in nuclear engineering and submarine systems before reporting to his submarine. While serving aboard the fast attack submarines USS Louisville and USS Asheville, he served as a watch officer, where he led a team of fifteen personnel in the operation of the ship’s nuclear reactor. Mr. Lee also extensively trained for and qualified as a nuclear engineer, which is equivalent to a master’s degree in nuclear engineering. After his submarine tour, Mr. Lee taught Tactics at the Navy Submarine School.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Lee received his B.S. and B.A. from Duke University, where he attended on a Naval ROTC Scholarship. He earned his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and served as president of the Law School Veteran’s Society. He also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Arthur Spatt of the Eastern District of New York.
