Deborah Conrad is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. She joined the firm in 1995 and was made partner in 1999. She served as the hiring partner for the Los Angeles office for ten years, from 2002-2012.
Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Conrad assists clients in a broad range of corporate transactions. She represents public and privately-held companies, investment banks and private equity funds in public offerings, private financings, mergers and acquisitions and other sophisticated transactions. Ms. Conrad also counsels issuers and holders of distressed debt securities in transactions that are designed to deleverage distressed companies pursuant to voluntary exchanges of debt. In addition, Ms. Conrad provides ongoing advice on corporate governance and other matters to boards of directors and special committees of public and private companies.

Ms. Conrad is a member of the Los Angeles Advisory Board of the Posse Foundation, a non-profit college access program that identifies, recruits, and trains public high school students from urban areas for enrollment at top-tier universities nationwide.
