Caroline Conway is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the Project Finance Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Her experience includes the representation of project sponsors, financial institutions and other project participants in a wide range of domestic and cross-border project and structured financings and investment transactions.
Ms. Conway’s most recent experience includes representing the lenders in the $500 million financing of a 100-megawatt wood- and waste-fired biomass power plant under construction in Florida, one of the largest greenfield biomass projects ever undertaken in the United States. Other recent experience includes representing the lenders in the approximately $220 million financing for two landfill gas-to-energy projects; representing the buyer in connection with its approximately $1.5 billion investment in coal mining operations and transportation infrastructure in Colombia; representing the senior lenders (including ECAs and commercial banks) in the Yemen LNG Project with lead sponsor TOTAL; and representing the lenders in the $495 million senior secured credit facilities to fund capital expenditures and other costs associated with the construction of the Bully 2 dynamically positioned drillship.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Conway received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, her graduate degree from Oxford University and her law degree from Fordham University. Ms. Conway is fluent in French and semi-fluent in Italian.
