Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Goldblatt represents clients in fund, joint venture, mergers and acquisition, restructuring, corporate governance and capital markets matters. His clients include private equity firms and investors and companies in a broad range of industries, including renewable and traditional energy, gaming, telecom, and real estate.
His recent representations include advising:
- Fund sponsors in the formation of funds and other pooled investment vehicles focused on debt, distressed real estate, renewables and other asset classes.
- Joint ventures and development companies involving large private equity firms and management and investment teams.
- Ad hoc committees of noteholders in several out-of court restructurings.
- Boards of directors in fiduciary duty matters.

Recognition & Accomplishments
Since 2002, Mr. Goldblatt has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at UCLA Law School teaching classes on corporate transactions. He is also the author of “Potential Impact of the Economic Downturn on Private Equity Funds,” (Private Equity And Venture Capital Trends in a Turbulent Economy), Thomson/Aspatore, 2009.
