Mr. Wahl specializes in mergers & acquisitions with a particular focus on private equity transactions.
His recent major transactions include the legal advice to:
- NYSE Euronext on the combination with Deutsche Boerse.
- Germanischer Lloyd on the acquisition of Noble Denton.
- PAI Partners on the acquisition of Xella International together with Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
- DPE Deutsche Private Equity on the acquisition of SSB Group from Granville Baird.
- Alupak AG on a joint venture with Teich AG.
Mr. Wahl studied law at the University of Cologne (Dr. jur.) and New York University (LL.M.). Before joining Milbank, he clerked in Cologne and London.
Mr. Wahl is admitted to the German bar and speaks German and English.
