Anne V. Shutkin is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Project Finance Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Her experience includes the representation of financial institutions and project sponsors in domestic and international project and structured financings.
Ms. Shutkin’s representations include advising the mandated lead arrangers in the $900 million financing of the Port of Miami Tunnel Project in Florida, the lead lender providing debt financing in connection with the sale by Marubeni Corporation of 50% of its 2300 MW Caribbean power portfolio to Abu Dhahi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA), the lender group in a $692 million Schahin drillship project in Brazil, and the institutional and bank lenders in the debt and equity financing for the construction of the 660-MW Hudson Transmission Project.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Shutkin received her B.A. from Yale University and earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Prior to enrolling in law school, Ms. Shutkin served as a legislative assistant on the staff of U.S . Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey. Ms. Shutkin is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bank Street College of Education.
