Alyssa Frederick is an associate in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Project Finance Group. 

Primary Focus & Experience

Her experience includes the representation of companies and financial institutions in domestic and crossborder finance and acquisition deals.

Ms. Frederick’s recent representations include advising the lenders in a $670 million financing of a hydropower project in Peru, advising the developer of a $2.8 billion solar thermal power plant in California in its debt and equity financings, and advising banks and other institutional investors in several financings of large-scale wind farms across the US from New Hampshire to California, including a portfolio of eleven wind projects in Idaho.  Other recent experience includes representing a seller and a potential acquirer in different acquisitions of merchant and contracted natural gas-fired power plants in various US states, as well as representing commercial banks and an ECA lender in the long-term financing of a drillship to be deployed in oil fields off the coast of Brazil.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Ms. Frederick received a B.A. in English from Yale University in 2002, and a J.D. from New York University in 2009, where she was senior notes editor of the Environmental Law Journal.  Prior to law school, she worked in renewable energy and international development policy in Washington, DC.
