Alexander M. Kaye is a partner in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Practice Group Leader of the firm's Corporate Group. He joined the firm as an associate in 1991 and became a partner in 2000.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Kaye’s experience includes the representation of public and private companies in connection with a wide variety of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, strategic alliances, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and debt transactions. Mr. Kaye also has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in acquisition, disposition and investment transactions.
He has significant cross-border M&A experience, and has recently completed transactions in several industries, including aircraft, aircraft leasing, broadcasting, energy/public utilities and satellite. Mr. Kaye also has extensive experience in the area of the federal securities laws, and his practice includes advising companies with respect to general corporate matters.

Mr. Kaye is recognized in The Legal 500 for his M&A work. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University and Rutgers University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
