Adam S. Bloom is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group.
Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Bloom’s practice focuses on transactional and general corporate representation. In particular, his practice focuses on securities and secured financings, in addition to public and private mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients across a range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and gaming, in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt investments, and general corporate matters.
Previously, Mr. Bloom was an associate in Milbank’s Intellectual Property Group, where his practice focused on patent, trade secret, copyright and trademark litigation.
Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Bloom worked for IBM's Globalization and Verification Testing (GVT) group in Research Triangle Park, NC. There, he tested IBM's WebSphere product on different operating systems, including Linux, Unix and Windows in up to nine different languages, none of which were English. Mr. Bloom also worked for BindView Corp. in Houston, TX as a web developer, where he built web pages using ColdFusion.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Bloom graduated cum laude from Santa Clara University and was Order of the Coif. While at Santa Clara University, he served as a notes editor for the Santa Clara Computer & High Technology Law Journal. Mr. Bloom received his B.E., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and was a Tau Beta Pi.
